My dogs eye is swollen?

I'm getting a new chihuahua puppy, he was playing with one of the other puppies and i think he got scratched in the eye. Now, the little corner of his eye, like the pink part, is swollen. Im scared its cherry eye or something! Please help me with what it could be! And im going to take him to the vet so you dont have to tell me :)
