What are some fun accessories to put in your room to give it the more preteen look?

I am a 12 year old girl and my room has a boring look to it. I am planning to put a bulletin board in a small corner with fun pillows and things. It will be like a quiet corner. What other things can I add to make my room unique, and cheap? I am a dancer that is teaching my mom's friend's daughter to dance. I kinda want my room to look like a dance "studio". Anything I will accept.
